Could a beloved character be on the verge of a major comeback in Un si grand soleil?

In December 2024, the daily series’ scriptwriters introduced a gripping storyline involving abortion.

Remember this: Maéva (Marie Fèvre) found out she was pregnant by Tom (Matéo Paitel). Not ready to become a mother at her young age, she decided to have an abortion.

Hélène (Sophie Le Tellier), who was working for an anti-abortion organization at the time, got close to the couple, attempting to persuade them to reconsider their decision. Overwhelmed by her persistence, Tom and Maéva eventually went to the media to expose the organization’s attempts to obstruct access to abortion services.

The investigation later uncovered that Pascal Belvis, the director, was actually involved in a dark child trafficking ring. This revelation enraged Hélène, who had been unaware of his criminal activities and believed she was fighting for a noble cause. In her fury, she even resorted to using digitalis to kill him.

Although Johanna (Aurore Delplace), her lawyer, tried to convince her to undergo a psychiatric evaluation to avoid jail time, Hélène refused, choosing to be judged for her actions. Since then, she has been imprisoned.

Just when it seemed we might never see her again, Hélène is now poised to make her grand return to Un si grand soleil.

Hélène’s Imminent Return to the Show

Based on the official synopses released by the network, Claire (Mélanie Maudran) is set to start a new task working with women in prison. This provides the perfect opportunity for the nurse to reconnect with an old acquaintance: Hélène Dambreville.

And it appears that she might finally be “ready to negotiate a reduction in her sentence“.

Sophie Le Tellier, who plays Hélène, is expected to make her grand return to our screens on December 16th, much to the delight of fans.
